I’m Martin Galabov, founder of Martin Portrait and an award-winning Dubai portrait photographer specialising in LinkedIn headshots, executive portraits and personal branding photography.
My work combines natural window light, subtle direction and a fine art approach to create portraits that feel authentic, confident and timeless.
Over the years, my portraits have received 31 international portrait awards and have been trusted by executives, founders and professionals across Dubai and the UAE.
Portrait sessions take place in my private natural-light studio in Mira, Dubai, providing a calm and relaxed environment where I photograph one client at a time.

The Portrait Studio
When choosing a home in Mira, Dubai, most people would have thought about the community or the commute. I thought about the light.
One particular window caught my attention. During the best hours for photographing, direct sunlight never reaches the subject. Instead, the daylight arrives soft and directional, shaping the face with natural depth and dimension without a single artificial light.
Most studios rely on artificial lighting to imitate the softness and direction of window light. However carefully shaped, it remains a recreation of natural light. Here, there is nothing to recreate. The light comes directly from the window and it is simply how the room behaves.
I photograph only one portrait session per day, giving each person my full attention, from wardrobe and careful guidance to reviewing the photographs together and refining the smallest details.
